Monthly Prorated Maintenance
The purchase of a product includes one year of maintenance
starting on the day the product is first activated.
For your product to be upgraded to the current version, it
is necessary to have continuous maintenance. If your maintenance
has expired, you must renew it from the date of expiration.
For example, if it expired 5 months ago, and if you renewed
for a year, you will end up effectively with only 7 months
of maintenance from today.
Previously, to keep the maintenance current beyond the first
year, it was necessary to purchase one or more years of additional
maintenance. Now, for customers who may need to extend maintenance
for a period of more than a whole year, it is possible to
purchase maintenance in monthly increments at a rate equal
to one twelfth of the current annual rate beyond the year.
